Vintage rattan hairdresser, 1960s, round mirror and woven backrest.

1960s blonde rattan dressing table, in the style of Louis Sognot. A sculptural and lightweight piece: round mirror mounted on a wide curved rattan arch, backrest in woven wicker framed by two loop motifs, oval white top edged with rattan, and sunray skirt under the top. Four-legged base connected by a stretcher, original rattan bindings. Dimensions: L 105 X D 60 cm, top height 81 cm, total height with mirror 147 cm. Condition: an antique piece that has lived, with some signs of use on the top and the rattan, visible in the photos. Structure is sound and stable, weaving intact, mirror without blemishes. It has the charm of a period piece, handmade, compared to new: a patina that is not found in reissues. Ideal for a bedroom, a boudoir, or repurposed as a small console or occasional desk.
