Antique Chinese Four-Panel Carved Wooden Screen

These four large, thick panels have carved clover-shaped pierced patterns. The lower sections (on the front side) feature a carved scroll design, while the upper parts have pierced shapes resembling clouds of prosperity. The individual pieces of wood have been assembled with rustic hand-made mortise and tenon joints (a sign of some age). This is made from extremely heavy wood. These screens are traditionally used as room dividers. This screen was purchased from an elderly gentleman who spent most of his life in China. Condition: Good. No damage. Signs of use consistent with age. Dimensions per panel: 149 cm high, 48 cm wide, 4 cm deep. When folded, 20 cm deep. NO SHIPPING POSSIBLE DUE TO WEIGHT.
