Old napperon in old knotted and hand-embroidered fillet. This ancient doily was made of knotted mesh and embroidered by hand. With reliefs in the patterns. The central design represents a grid of leaves with a flower in the center, on each side there is a beautiful rosette of foliage with a stylized flower motif in the center. We discover a pretty frieze on the upper and lower part of the doily. At each end there are long and beautiful cotton fringes. Off-white color. In very good general condition no holes or tears. Width 20 cm. Length 42 cm. More fringes 7 cm. Total length 34-56cm. This book comes from my great-grandmother embroiderer born in 1885. This doily is a beautiful piece of old linen, ideal for a very shabby decoration.
