Spanish pitcher in green glass. For wine or vase, it will work wonders in your kitchen! 📐 27cm high. 🔎 excellent condition, no chipped. 💡 porrón is a type of traditional glass wine pitcher, originating in the autonomous communities of aragon and catalonia, but also known throughout spain. It is a mixture of bottle of wine and watering can, the neck of which is narrow and shutterable. Starting from the bottom of the container there is a kind of beak that narrows until it becomes a small opening. To drink with a porró, one starts by putting the beak near the mouth. The beak is then tilted gently until the liquid goes to the mouth. When the liquid begins to come out, the pitcher is removed from the mouth little by little until its arm is completely extended, and the head is tilted slightly backwards. All the art lies in the ability to swallow the mouth open, so that the jet is continuous even for several sips. Finally, the porró is brought back near the mouth so as not to spill wine.
