Willy Rizzo “Cassia” Console – Italy, 1970s

Willy Rizzo “Cassia” Console – Italy, 1970s Elegant console table designed by renowned Italian designer Willy Rizzo in the 1970s. The “Cassia” model perfectly illustrates Rizzo's signature aesthetic: clean geometric lines combined with luxurious materials and refined proportions. The console features a sleek chromed metal frame with a smoked glass top and lower shelf, creating a sophisticated contrast between reflective chrome and dark glass. Beneath the top are two integrated drawers, subtly incorporated into the structure, offering discreet storage while preserving the console's minimalist architectural appearance. The interior of the drawers reveals warm wood tones, adding a beautiful material contrast to the cool metal and glass surfaces. Designed during the golden era of Italian modern design, this piece embodies the refined glamour associated with Willy Rizzo's work. It works beautifully in an entryway, behind a sofa, or as a sculptural display surface in a modern, mid-century, or contemporary interior.
