Nightstand or small designer side table created by Pierre Sala, a French designer, in the 1980s. This piece belongs to the iconic "Crayons de couleur" collection and perfectly embodies the European post-modern aesthetic with its graphic, playful, and colourful approach, characteristic of decorative furniture from the 1980s. Made of painted wood, the structure consists of uprights forming stylised multicoloured crayons with black ends and natural wood areas simulating the sharpening of the pencil. The top surface is painted red and the lower surface in dark blue. The whole rests on four small decorative feet. This piece can be used as a nightstand, side table, or small decorative furniture. It fits perfectly into a post-modern, Memphis, 80s design, or contemporary interior. Careful craftsmanship, stable structure, and balanced proportions. The colours are vibrant and well-preserved, typical of post-modern decorative design. A strong decorative piece, sought after by enthusiasts of 1980s design. Dimensions: Height: 54 cm. Width: 34 cm. Depth: 34 cm. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Slight signs of normal use related to age. No missing parts, no cracks, no restoration.
