A set of six glasses made of coloured glass, referencing the form and colour of Czechoslovakian Art Deco from the 1950s. Distinguished by a low, spherical profile and a wide, open bowl. Each glass is hand-formed, visible in subtle differences in glass thickness and softly rounded rims. The colour palette includes gently whitened pastels – blue, amber, light yellow, olive green, smoky grey, and almost colourless warm gold. The shiny, smooth surface without additional decoration emphasises the luminosity of each shade. The play of light on the semi-transparent glass and the presence of micro bubbles formed during blowing refer to the traditional glassmaking craftsmanship of the region. The set is in very good condition – only microscopic scratches at the base and characteristic bubbles, with no chips or cracks. In these glasses, old Czech craftsmanship meets the minimalism of the post-war 1950s – balanced proportions and a harmonious colour range are a gesture towards an era that was just beginning to define modern luxury.
