Vintage hanging lamp Meblo Guzzini Sfera MCM plastic pendant light 1970's

Large vintage globe pendant light made of plastic with a satin finish. The bottom of the sphere is transparent. The light that this Space Age chandelier emits into your modern or retro environment is truly something special. It was produced by Meblo in the 1970s in Yugoslavia. The Sfera (Sphere) was part of the famous Guzzini collection, an Italian company renowned for its mid-century modern design. These two companies collaborated on many of their designs. This retro lamp uses an E27 light bulb socket. The light fixture is in good condition with minor signs of decades of use. The hanging lamp is completely rewired, and the ceiling canopy is also new.
