Two finely chiseled lion heads, applied in opposition, hold in their mouths movable rings that serve as handles. This model with neoclassical decoration is a product of the Orfèvrerie Saint-Médard, a French house renowned for its silver-plated shaped pieces from the mid-20th century, of which the lion head buckets have become classics of tableware.
