Transylvania Bench

If Transylvania had a "national color" it would have to be green, many benches there are painted that color. The bench has been painted many times but the original green paint can be seen in places. It's all in the name, the etymology of the region means something along the lines of "endless forest". This one is in beautiful condition, very clean inside, nice wear and patina, in a turn of the century modernist style. The low armrests perhaps allow for seating next to a country restaurant in the kitchen or living room. Transylvania circa 1900.
