Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Vase designed by by Thorkild Olsen. Vintage crackleware Royal Copenhagen porcelain dish. The technique used on this piece is called Craquelé, Krakelé, Krakkele or Crackelure. It's an old technique originating in China but it made its way in to designs of Royal Copenhagen in the 20th century. Crackle Glaze with gilded border. Excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Height 17 cm. Width widest part approximately 10 cm.
