Roger Capron (1922-2006) Tin-plated earthenware orangeade set with polychrome animal decoration, comprising 6 mazagrans and a pitcher. After studying with the decorator René Gabriel, he finally chose the path of ceramist. In 1946, he created the Callis workshop in Vallauris with Robert Picault. It was at this time that the emblematic forms and representations of his work appeared: branches, stylized characters, suns and geometric patterns.
