Svane teak daybed by Igmar Relling renovated in light beige natural fabric, Ekoners, Norway 1960s

True code to minimalism and norwegian purity, this daybed accompanies you both day and night. Svane daybed or sofa was designed by ingmar relling for ekornes and manufactured in the 1960s- 1970s. It has a sleeping function while fully unfolded, additionally there is a compartment for sheets and blankets underneath. Solid teak frame combine with new natural woollen upholstery in beige hue gives impression to simplicity and elegance at the same time, classic for scandinavian modern design. Perfect for any living room, office space or a mid century modern style lounge. Daybed has been completely restored and checked by our team. We have made sure that all mechanisms work properly. Functional retracting side table has one insignificant scratch, beside that the wooden frame is in very good vintage condition. Pillows and mattress were reupholstered in elegant beige fully natural woollen fabric. Our goal is to restore the furniture to its best condition, considering they are 60 years.
