Old farm table, low

Superb century-old farm table in solid wood. It has been sanded, washed, brushed, treated and repaired. It was missing one drawer and the other was in too poor condition, so two drawer fronts were created and decorated with pretty shell handles in patinated and lightly gilded chiseled cast iron. After a suitable undercoat, its solid oak base was painted in the yucatan greige color of resource paints then ultra matt varnished. The incredible and magnificent top, which shows numerous traces of various uses and also insects, has been colorless matte glazed, highlighting its brushed veining and its authentic character.
