Vintage Kokeshi by Yoshida Takashi / with his tablet / 25 cm

Kokeshi “tamayura” (“moment” / “fleeting moment”) made by yoshida takashi born in 1948 and died in 2007, he was the student of kobayashi inosuke. She wears a khaki and gold colored kimono, decorated with genjiguruma (wheel of genji / symbol of change), engraved. Yoshida takashi has received numerous awards, including several times that of the Prime Minister as well as the prize of the Minister of Education, he has also been awarded the title of “expert craftsman” awarded by the government, which makes him one of the most awarded kokeshi craftsmen. It has a small scratch on his left sleeve, just under his chin (see photos). There are no other notable marks .
