Staff Tubes floor lamp 1970s

Two slender chrome-plated stands, two movable spots and the long black spiral cords define the distinctive lines of this Staff Leuchten floor lamp. The model is known in the vintage trade as the Tubes and dates from the 1970s. The heavy black base has a recognizable two-lobed shape and forms a strong contrast with the shiny chrome. From the base, two slim stands rise, along which the individual lamps can be adjusted in height. The spots themselves are also movable. Thanks to the bent tube construction, they can be directed both straight and at an angle, making the lamp not only functional but also giving it a different silhouette each time. Special is the double version with two spots, which is offered much less often than the single variant. The long black spiral cords run visibly along the stands and are an emphatic part of the design. With each press of the original foot switch, you switch between three light settings: first one spot lights up, then the other, and then both spots together. With the next press, the lamp switches off again. The lamp has been carefully cleaned and polished by hand, restoring the chrome to its bright shine. Technically, the lamp has been fully checked. All parts are complete and function properly. The lamp is in very good vintage condition.
