Large horizontal bistro/brasserie mirror in eglomisé glass, Belle Époque period, circa 1900-1910. The border consists of multiple panels of painted and gilded glass on the reverse, using the eglomisé technique: diamond lattice punctuated with gilded cabochons, leafy scrolls, draped female figures in motion, and winged putti musicians positioned in the central upper frieze. The ornamental vocabulary blends Art Nouveau and neoclassical styles, characteristic of the decor of the grand Parisian brasseries of the period. The outer frame is made of moulded wood with gilding. The central mirror, in landscape format and of large dimensions, features a backing in perfect condition, without alteration. The whole is entirely original, with no reported intervention. Dimensions: 202 cm in length × 102 cm in height × 3 cm in depth. Weight: 50 kg. Transport and hanging to be arranged with equipment suitable for the size and weight of the piece. Excluding delivery.
