Pair of Scandinavian Mid Century Glass Wall Lights by Carl Fagerlund for Orrefors & Lyfa, 1960s

Stunning pair of brass & glass wall lights/sconces designed by carl fagerlund and made in collaboration between danish light manufacturer lyfa and swedish glasswork orrefors in the 1960s. Thick textured art glass shades curved to a half circle form. They feature an embossed pattern of bubbles. The shades are fixed with 2 brass knobs to thin polished brass wall mountings. The wall lights illuminate beautifully (see pictures). Original labels intact. Re-wired (hardwired) and ready to use (compatible in europe, us, uk, etc.). Each wall light requires 1x e27 light bulb, max 25w and 45w. Led compatible. Height: 25.5 cm; width: 20 cm; depth (from wall): 10.5 cm. Quite heavy (each weighs c. 3 kg). Very good vintage condition. Patina and light wear consistent with age and use on the brass elements. The listed price is for the pair (2 wall lights).
