Pair of beautiful art nouveau bombonnières with lead crystal lid cut by val st. Lambert. The top of the lid and the two enlargements of the foot stem both have an air bubble inside. The difference in size of the bombonières corresponds to the original design. They have a crystalline sound. Val saint lambert is a glass company headquartered in the former abbey of seraing, in the province of liège, belgium. The company has been in operation since 1826. It is characterized by a quality production due to the clarity of its glass. In 1825, jean-françois deneef moved to val saint-lambert with the intention of creating a glassworks whose quality would surpass that of the neighboring baccarat. Val saint lambert was founded by chemist m. Kemlin and quickly won several medals for the clarity of his crystal pieces. Val saint lambert is known for its art nouveau and art deco pieces. Seraing, belgium. Late 19th or early 20th century.
