Clip-on, Bakelite night lamp, Germany, 1930s.

A workshop lamp or wall lamp mounted with a clip, manufactured in germany at the beginning of the 20th century. A minimalist lamp with an exposed bulb is a classic example of modernist design with an industrial character, concise in form, with a switch in the housing and simple mounting. The bakelite is undamaged, the clamping mechanism works well and the lamp can be attached in various places. The lamp gives very nice illumination, marble-brown bakelite. The lamp is fully functional and works with a single e27 bulb up to 60w, original installation with a european plug. The item is in good original condition and has slight traces of use, mainly visible on the cable.  dimensions without bulb: Height 8 cm|width 9 cm|depth 4 cm.
