Bridge Bow Wood Armchairs 1950

Pair of bridge armchairs attributed to Wilhelm von Bode by Steiner French design 1950s original skai and curved wood. This armchair made of curved ash is an aesthetic and technical challenge. Its base is worked from a single piece of curved solid wood, which forms the armrest. A brass ring, the only attachment point, assembles the base and the backrest, ensuring flexibility and great seating comfort. The seat is flexible, very comfortable covered with a fawn-colored skai. Beautiful vintage condition in its original condition, original varnish. Light signs of wear and a scratch on the skai (see close-up photo). Also note some marks of use on the wood.
