Workshop chair by the Biénaise brand, 1948

Workshop chair from the renowned Biénaise brand. Four steel tube legs screwed onto a cast iron hub stamped with the brand's logo. Swivel seat, height adjustable, and reclining backrest. All the steel has been brushed and cleaned, restoring its original bright, new appearance. Dimensions: Length 40 cm, Depth 40 cm, Maximum Height 85 cm, Seat Height 45 to 55 cm. Backrest adjustable in tilt and height. Ideal for standard workbenches, drawing tables, worktops, or bar tables. The Biénaise chair was created in Paris in 1921 by two Americans, Franc and Harry Nelson. It was the first French chair designed specifically for office use.
