Very pretty pantry, or jam cabinet from the end of the 19th century. It is made of solid pine and the openwork doors are protected by wire mesh. This allowed air to pass through and the food to remain protected. It opens with two doors mounted on hinges mounted in the old-fashioned way. The left one is locked with a hook screwed onto the bottom shelf and the right one locks both with its pull handle which tilts a small hook inside. There was originally a lock which has long since disappeared. This piece of furniture has been completely sanded and refurbished but retains its unique rustic patina which gives it all its charm. There are marks, worn boards, a little play at the left door when it is closed (but it stays closed without any problem) but all this reinforces the authenticity of this pantry which will bring personality to any kitchen, or living room, or even bedroom. H: 103 cm. W: 92 cm. P: 33 cm.
