Large vintage rectangular bamboo, rattan and cane mirror from the 1960s. The mirror has a superb design with a rattan and bamboo frame, in warm, burnt bamboo and tiger colours with rounded and refined shapes. The decoration, background or surround of the mirror is covered with a cane surface which has been superbly patinated over time, which makes it really pop and in the spirit of certain pieces made on the riviera at this time (see photos). The piece is in very good original and vintage condition with light signs, marks of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the general structure, the mirror, the cane and the border, as you would expect for a piece of this age (see photos), but nothing that takes away from its cool look. The cane has no tears. The mirror has no cracks or chips (see photos), and measures at h: 59.5 cm X w: 35 cm. On the back there is a hook, so the piece can be easily mounted on a wall in a vertical position (see photo, ) but it can also be mounted horizontally if desired by modifying the attachment points (see photo.) a very pretty mirror, which will work well in any mid-century, rustic-contemporary or retro-bohemian space, in an entryway, bedroom, living room, bathroom, hallway, conservatory or even on a terrace or balcony. Note: all photos were taken outdoors, in natural light), so colours may vary slightly depending on the angle from which they are viewed.
