Armchair Thonet N°18 1/2 canned, circa 1900

Armchair Thonet n°18 1/2 called "lady's chair". The dimensions are reduced compared to the standard No. 18. It is dated 1901, see the stamps and the back curve. (pictured) This armchair has a "rosewood finish", clearly visible, except on the armrests where the wood appeared by dint of use. This piece is entirely original, without restoration, it is stable, symmetrical and usable on a daily basis. The caning is new, 6 threads "manual". German cane (weaving sr). We leave the canning unbleached for the photo shoot and the buyer will choose the shade we make to order. Dimensions: height: 90 cm, seat height: 47 cm, total width: 57 cm- seated: 45x45cm.
