Splendid and very rare clock of remarkable english workmanship representing a gothic style cathedral with hawina-like movement with quarter strike on 8 westminter and whittington bronze bells that can be silenced and hours on a large spiral gong. Dimensions h 82cm width 50cm depth 31 weight 25 kg. Triple fused movement as shown in the photo. The mechanism has been overhauled and is fully functional. Video: https: //youtu.be/sddflsl8hkq. Small shortcomings due to time and above all due to the handling of a watch weighing more than 25 kg almost 2 centuries ago. N.3 original supplied keys: 1 crank winding key. 1 front door key. 1 rear door key. "the wf evans & son.
