Vintage hand painted coffee cup and saucer made by the Henriot pottery company in Quimper, France. Beautiful vivid cobalt blue and golden color tones. Made in the 1950s. Signed at the bottom of the cup. Coffee Cup: Width: 6.5 cm / 2.55 inch. Length: 9.5 cm / 3.74 inch. Height: 6.5 cm / 2.55 inch. Saucer: Diameter: 14.5 cm / 5.7 inch. Height: 0.8 cm / 0.31 inch. Weight: 324 gram / 11.42 ounce (combined weight of cup and saucer together) NOTE: there are a few tiny chips and the gold color on the rims is fading at some spots (see photos) About the creator: Founded in Quimper, Breton, France in 1690, the HB-Henriot Manufacture has always innovated and worked with artists since this date. Nowadays, HB-Henriot is well known all over the world for its know-how: the "Quimper paint touch" and the tradition of producing and hand-painting every piece in-house as well as the creation of its own moulds.
