Coffee table in the style of Audoux Minnet in rattan and ceramic by Georges Chassin. The bamboo structure and top made of ceramic tiles with floral patterns signed by Chassin. 1960s. Dimensions: H 44 W 79 D 49 cm. Georges Chassin, a ceramist from Vallauris in the 60s, represented at La Bergerie. He notably worked with Audoux and Minnet on various rattan pieces. Audoux-Minnet is a manufacturer of high-end garden, terrace, and living room furniture made from rattan, bamboo, and raffia cord. In the 40s and 50s, the designer couple Adrien Audoux and Frida Minnet offered original and modern furniture made from natural materials for the affluent clientele of the Riviera (French Riviera). Initially based in Cannes in 1929, they moved to Golfe-Juan (Alpes Maritimes) in 1942.
