Travertine coffee table. A glass top with rounded edges and a travertine starry foot. This table comes directly from the creator claude berraldacci. They were designed in the 90s. The brand was called "la pierre haute couture". The stone is the purest of what exists in travertine. It comes from the tivoli quarry near rome, from where the vatican buildings, the colosseum or the trevi fountain are extracted. The travertine of this region is very pure, with few veins and a very light color. The stone is worked with a great know-how that allows to have a "softened travertine": natural and matte appearance, soft to the touch. This work highlights the mineral texture and unique color.
