Magnificent Service of Tinted Glasses from the 50s-60s / 18 Glasses and 2 Jugs

Authentic complete table service from the 1950s/60s in smoked glass, amber/brown colour. With its typical Mid-Century design, balloon shape, and intricately worked feet with relief rings, this set will add a trendy retro and warm touch to your table. The service is very complete and includes 20 pieces: 1 large jug/pitcher with handle for water or fruit juices. H. 16.5cm. 1 carafe/decanter with its original glass stopper (for liqueurs, wine, or whisky). H. 19cm. 18 matching glasses: 6 small glasses, 6 medium glasses, 6 large glasses (perfect for aperitifs, digestifs, port, or as small water glasses). 6 small H. 6.2cm, 6 medium H. 7.5cm, 6 large H. 8.3cm (diameters: 4.8cm, 5.5cm, 6.5cm). ✨ Condition: Excellent overall condition. The glass is shiny, with no cracks or chips to report, although there are some blowing defects (see photos) and traces of the cane at the base of the items known as the pontil. There are traces of limescale on some pieces (see photos) but they can be easily removed with the right products. The stopper of the carafe fits perfectly. Ideal for lovers of antiques, vintage design, or for a bistro-style/retro table decoration. EXTREMELY RARE SERVICE, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION. I have never seen this style of service again.
