Exceptional Art Deco planter from the Boch La Louvière factory, designed in the spirit of the work of Charles Catteau (1880–1966), a major figure in Belgian ceramic design and an undisputed master of the Art Deco style. The model features a ample and harmonious silhouette, animated by a superb deep black decor punctuated with modern silver lines — a graphic vocabulary typical of the aesthetic developed by Catteau in the 1920s and 30s. The piece is stamped and numbered in relief, attesting to a careful and rare production. Its generous dimensions (23 cm X Ø 30 cm) give it a true sculptural presence, ideal for housing a large plant or being displayed alone as a decorative art object. Its condition is remarkable: no chips, no cracks, no restorations, which is exceptional for a piece from this era.
