Grand ceiling light "Saturno" by Kazuo Motozawa – Staff Leuchten edition, c.

Rare and exceptional ceiling light model "Saturno", designed by Japanese designer Kazuo Motozawa around 1970 and produced by the prestigious German company Staff Leuchten. This is the larger diameter version of 42 cm, much more spectacular and sought after in the market than the standard 30 cm model. Certified Provenance: This piece was acquired in Stockholm at Bukowskis, the largest and most renowned auction house for art and design in Scandinavia. A prestigious pedigree that guarantees its absolute historical authenticity. Aesthetics and Light: A true icon of the Space Age, its suspended structure is composed of concentric metal chrome slats arranged in a cascade. This architectural system offers a powerful and graphic light diffusion while ensuring total visual comfort without any glare. When off, the lamp acts as a mirror chrome sculpture; when on, it creates a fascinating play of luminous rings. Condition: The lamp is in very good vintage condition. The chrome has retained all its shine and superb mirror effect, with no pitting or major scratches. The slats are perfectly straight. The original electrical system has been fully checked and is functional.
