Superb antique Directoire-style chest of drawers, from the Louis XVI period, made of solid wood. Very beautiful warm patina, elegant proportions, and artisan craftsmanship. 📏 Dimensions: • Length: 130 cm. • Depth: 57 cm. • Height: 90 cm. Antique piece, heavy and robust (solid wood). The handles have been changed (original handles not retained). 2 large drawers + 3 small ones, as well as 3 small hidden ones behind. Please note: some marks and old stains on the top and drawers due to a heating incident. These are superficial and do not affect the sturdiness or functionality of the piece (see photos). (The stains can be reduced with a light re-waxing or professional touch-up, which might be worth it if you want to aim higher). Ideal for a bedroom, hallway, or living room to add character.
