Set of 6 vintage French amber escargot plate in Majolica

Set of 6 escargot plates in orangish/amber majolica ceramic. They have capacity for 12 snails. These plates are fantastic for serving escargots, like in pretty woman, but if you're not a big fan of snails, the plates are ideal for serving a selection of appetizers or small desserts. Here in france, they have something very interesting called "cafe gourmand, " which is coffee with a selection of small desserts—it's great. The plates are in perfect condition. Each one measures 22 cm wide, 20 cm in diameter, and 3.5 cm high.
