Superb singer 1920 foot stool in cast iron with anatomical backrest mounted on spring. Coming from a former sewing workshop. These stools met the first safety and ergonomics standards in the early twentieth century. Foot stamped singer, amount of the file stamped "simanco" for "singer manufacturing company". Height adjustable. Beautiful original beech cake. Several copies available.
