Small old wooden footrest bench and metal strapping

This bench, footstool or plant stand in wood and zinc dates from the 50s or 60s. It is particularly original with its “zinc” counter strapping. This one was clearly homemade given the numerous screws, sometimes a little wobbly and more or less well fixed in the framework. The wood, probably oak, is very beautiful. Its wear, patina, warm tone and grain add to its charm and unique character. This little bench seems to be a silent witness to the many lives he has lived through. Everything we love...
