Large ceramic jug in glazed earthenware – signed B. Gaillard – France, 20th century. Superb antique zoomorphic jug from St Clément representing a rooster, made of polychrome glazed ceramic in bright colours (greens, ochres, yellows, and reds). A decorative piece of character, typical of French productions from the mid-20th century, both expressive and highly decorative. The jug is signed B. Gaillard under one foot, with a clearly visible signature, which adds real interest for enthusiasts and collectors of French ceramics.
