Set of four old studded wooden Lyonnaise balls

Set of 4 studded wooden lyonnais pétanque balls, old, late 19th century early 20th century. Metal nails are arranged in spirals. Note. Some nails are missing (see detail photos). Just dusted and waxed to retain their beautiful patina by bringing out the texture of the wood and metal. The metal has been treated against corrosion. The balls measure approximately 9 cm in diameter. One of them is a little larger (approximately 9.5 cm in diameter).
