African Teke Mask

The Teke constitute a Bantu population of Central Africa shared between the former Zaire, the Republic of Congo and Gabon. These masks are worn by members of the kidumu society during the funerals of their leaders or during weddings or even during the judgments of acts of witchcraft in order to rebalance energies and honor nature.
