Brutalist elm table Wabi-sabi spirit and its 2 benches

Very nice dining table in solid elm of the 50s with thick top, accompanied by its two benches. It is a unique piece made by a craftsman on the basis of an old press. It was completely sanded and then lacquered in matte black to give it a contemporary spirit in the wabi-sabi trend, close to burnt wood in appearance. The lacquer allows a unique textured rendering and preserves the veining of the wood. The two benches are also treated identically. 4 large nuts also lacquered are present on the sleepers and reinforce the design of the table. Small in size, it can be easily integrated into an apartment. Very strong and robust, its weight is about 70 kg. The height under headband is 57 cm, which is why the benches are more suitable to accompany the table on each main side, which can be accompanied by a chair at each end.
