Saltimbanco shelf desk by Raul Barbieri & Giorgio Marianelli for Rexite, Italy 2000’s

The Saltimbanco shelf desk was designed by Raul Barbieri & Giorgio Marianelli for Rexite in Italy around the turn of the century. This versatile folding unit combines a bookshelf and desk in one compact design, allowing it to be used either freestanding or against a wall. The light grey metal frame is paired with beech shelves and work surfaces, giving the piece a warm yet contemporary appearance. Its clever, space-saving design makes Saltimbanco both practical and distinctive, while its discontinued production adds to its appeal as a collectible Italian design piece. Good vintage condition with signs of age.
