Stamped stoneware pot by Corneau – Myennes, a family-run factory located in Myennes, just a few kilometres from Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, a historic site for Burgundian stoneware. The Corneau pottery was active from the early 20th century until it closed in 1951. This model features a relief decoration of beaded bands, punctuated by two appliqués depicting stylised hares, an expressive detail typical of a rural Burgundian imagination. Warm brown clay, slightly varied by the firing, contrasts with the light beige glazed interior. Oval stamp on the reverse: Corneau Myennes. Diameter 15 cm, height 8 cm. In excellent vintage condition, with a beautiful patina and shine. A heritage piece with a strong character, ideal for an interior with raw materials.
