Louis philippe mirror the mirror has been completely restored. It was completely stripped. Then it was coated with gesso (mixture of meudon whites and rabbit skin glue) in order to prepare the support for the gilding at the mixtion. It was covered with gold imitation copper (brass) foil. Finally it was varnished with 2 coats of shellac varnish to protect the copper and accentuate the shine. Dimensions: 55 cm X 44 cm. It is ready to hang in your living room. No sending.
