Marjolein Bastin Bowl from the "Libelle" Series, Strawberry Motif, J & G Meakin, Wedgwood Group

A lovely ceramic soup bowl featuring a cute strawberry design by well-known dutch illustrator marjolein bastin. The strawberry motif is part of a series of drawings that bastin originally made for the dutch magazine "libelle" in the 1980s. The designs were then used by the british pottery firm j & g meakin, a member of the wedgwood group, to decorate a line of tableware.
