Vintage light cognac aniline leather 3 seater sofa by Mogens Hansen Denmark, 1970s

ssuperior quality leather sofa in light cognac colour manufactured mogens hansen in the 1970s., inspired closely by borge mogensen’s absolutely classic dmcm designs of the same period. It features eight very well-fitted goose down filled cushions. The use of goose down filled cushions is a common feature in high-end furniture as it provides a soft and luxurious feel that conforms to the body's shape. Liner is in satin fabric as always in mogens hansen furniture. It stands on varnished solid beech legs. Overall great original vintage condition, leather with fantastic patina, some wrinkles and slight discolouration that only add to it's character. It is the leather that we rarely can see anymore nowadays and will for sure last another 50 or maybe more years. Seat height: 44 cm. Armrest height: 63 cm. Ground clearance: 21 cm.
