Old gate cradle with cast iron logs

Vintage cast iron fireplace basket / log holder with 15 bars. This accessory is placed inside the chimney and is used to accommodate the logs which, placed slightly high in the hearth, benefit from optimal combustion. This solid support also prevents partially consumed logs from collapsing, thanks to the curved bars that form a good bed of embers. This model will be more suitable for medium-large chimneys.
