Exceptional and extensive tea service from the iconic "Oliv" series, designed in 1966 by Berit Ternell for the Swedish manufacturer Gefle Porslinsfabrik (Upsala-Ekeby group). A centrepiece of mid-century Scandinavian design, this set is distinguished by its minimalist lines and deep olive green reactive glaze. The brutalist and organic aesthetic of the stoneware fits perfectly with current wabi-sabi and Japandi trends. The set is offered without saucers, giving the cups a contemporary look, ideal for everyday use as minimalist mugs. Composition and dimensions (14 pieces): 1 Teapot with lid: Height 14 cm|Width 23 cm|Weight 830 g. The underside shows the original potter's marks, evidence of artisanal kiln firing. 12 Cups: Height 6 cm|Diameter 9 cm|Weight 300 g (each). Well-made, thick, and pleasant to hold. 1 Sugar bowl. Condition: Very good vintage condition (GVC). The stoneware is sound, with no chips or cracks in the glaze, retaining all its original shine. Note: a microscopic chip ("fleabite") on the upper rim of one cup, invisible in use.
