Thonet chair n°14 -1/2, from 1895/1900. The 1/2 format (or kleine stühle / "small chair") appeared as early as 1875 at thonet in order to optimize seating capacities in public establishments. Seat diameter 37 cm - total height 82 cm. seat height: 46 cm. Thonet stamp under the seat. Very good general condition and patina of lived - tone of walnut-brown origin. The canning has been redone to nine in manual with 6 wires. We can equip these chairs free of charge with screwed skates (origin germany), adapted by their material to the coating of the room where they will be used.
