A pair of Persian oriental rugs from the renowned city of Kashan, one of the most prestigious centres of Persian weaving. These rugs, hand-knotted from high-quality wool on a cotton foundation, feature a red field with warm shades and richly adorned borders with scrolls and stylised flowers. They reflect precise workshop craftsmanship and offer excellent durability over time. The colour palette combines reds, blues, and ivory touches, typical of Persian productions from the second half of the 20th century. Dimensions: 70 X 140 cm. Period: circa 1970–1980. Good condition despite a small imperfection on one border. Ideal for enhancing an elegant interior or enriching a collection.
