Coffee or tea service Sarreguemines Rockingham black and gold - 26 pieces

Vintage coffee or tea service from the famous French manufacturer Sarreguemines, in the English Rockingham style, dating from the early 20th century. Black glazed earthenware with gilding. The service is for 12 people: it includes 12 cups (diameter 9 cm, height 5 cm), 12 matching saucers (diameter 14 cm, height 2 cm), 1 milk jug (diameter 10 cm, height 8.5 cm), and 1 coffee/teapot with its lid (diameter 15 cm, height 17 cm). This complete and very decorative set is in excellent condition. The gilding is beautifully preserved and the glaze has retained all its brilliance. Please note: a slight discreet chip is present on the neck of the teapot (see last photo). A rare exceptional service!.
